Chapter 4 Verse 19

Yasya, sarve, smaarambhaH, kaamsankalpvarjitaH,
Gyaanaagnidagdhkarmaanam, tam, aahuH, panditam, budhaH ||19||

Translation: (Yasya) whose (sarve) all (smaarambhaH) scripture-based actions (kaamsankalp varjitaH) are devoid of desires and resolutions and (gyanagnidagdh karmanm) evil actions i.e. the actions opposite to the ordinances of scriptures have been turned to ashes by the fire of Tatvgyan[1] i.e. on acquiring full knowledge, the worshipper on finding a complete saint obtains the real mantra by which all the sins are destroyed (tam) him (budhaH) wise men who worship according to the ordinances of the scriptures (panditam) pandit (aahuH) call. (19)

Translation

He whose all scripture-based actions are devoid of desires and resolutions and the evil actions i.e. the actions opposite to the ordinances of scriptures have been turned to ashes by the fire of Tatvgyan i.e. on acquiring full knowledge the worshipper on finding a complete saint obtains the real mantra by which all sins are destroyed, wise men, who worship according to the ordinances of scriptures, call him a Pandit.


यस्य, सर्वे, समारम्भाः, कामसंकल्पवर्जिताः,
ज्ञानाग्निदग्धकर्माणम्, तम्, आहुः, पण्डितम्, बुधाः।।19।।

अनुवाद: (यस्य) जिसके (सर्वे) सम्पूर्ण (समारम्भाः) शास्त्रा अनुकूल कर्म (कामसंकल्प वर्जिताः) बिना कामना और संकल्पके होते हैं तथा (ज्ञानाग्निदग्ध कर्माणम्) बुरे कर्म अर्थात् शास्त्रा विधि रहित कार्य तत्व ज्ञानरूप अग्निके द्वारा भस्म हो गये हैं अर्थात् पूर्ण ज्ञान होने पर साधक पूर्ण संत तलाश करके वास्तविक मंत्रा प्राप्त कर लेता है, जिससे सर्व पाप विनाश हो जाते हैं (तम्) उसको (बुधाः) शास्त्रा विधि अनुसार साधना करने वाले बुद्धिमान लोग (पण्डितम्) पण्डित (आहुः) कहते हैं। (19)
