Yasya, na, ahankrtH, bhaavH, buddhiH, yasya, na, lipyate,
Hatva, api, saH, imaan, lokaan, na, hanti, na, nibadhyate ||17||
Translation: (Yasya) who (ahankrtH) ‘I am the doer’ this (bhaavH) feeling (na) does not have and (yasya) whose (buddhiH) mind (na, lipyate) does not get tainted (saH) he (imaan) these (lokaan) all people (hatva) on killing (api) even (na) neither (hanti) kills and (na) nor (nibadhyate) becomes bound. (17)
He who does not have this feeling ‘I am the doer’, and whose mind does not get tainted, he, even on killing all these people, neither kills nor becomes bound.
यस्य, न, अहङ्कृृतः, भावः, बुद्धिः, यस्य, न, लिप्यते,
हत्वा, अपि, सः, इमान्, लोकान्, न, हन्ति, न, निबध्यते।।17।।
अनुवाद: (यस्य) जिसे (अहङ्कृतः) ‘मैं कत्र्ता हूँ‘ ऐसा (भावः) भाव (न) नहीं है तथा (यस्य) जिसकी (बुद्धिः) बुद्धि (न, लिप्यते) लिपायमान नहीं होती (सः) वह (इमान्) इन (लोकान्) सब लोकोंको (हत्वा) मारकर (अपि) भी (न) न तो (हन्ति) मारता है और (न) न (निबध्यते) बँधता है। (17)
