Sarvbhooteshu, yen, ekam, bhaavam, avyyam, iikshte,
Avibhaktam, vibhakteshu, tat, gyaanm, viddhi, saatvikam ||20||
Translation: (Yen) the knowledge by which a person (vibhakteshu) distinct (sarvbhooteshu) in all the living beings (ekam) one (avyyam) immortal God (bhaavam) aspect (avibhaktam) situated equally in an undivided manner (iikshte) sees (tat) that (gyaanm) knowledge (saatvikam) Satvik (viddhi) know. (20)
The knowledge by which a person sees the aspect of one immortal God situated equally in an undivided manner in all the distinct living beings, know that knowledge to be Satvik.
सर्वभूतेषु, येन, एकम्, भावम्, अव्ययम्, ईक्षते,
अविभक्तम्, विभक्तेषु, तत्, ज्ञानम्, विद्धि, सात्त्विकम्।।20।।
अनुवाद: (येन) जिस ज्ञानसे मनुष्य (विभक्तेषु) पृथक्-पृथक् (सर्वभूतेषु) सब प्राणियोंमें (एकम्) एक (अव्ययम्) अविनाशी परमात्मा (भावम्) भावको (अविभक्तम्) विभागरहित समभावसे स्थित (ईक्षते) देखता है (तत्) उस (ज्ञानम्) ज्ञानको तो तू (सात्त्विकम्) सात्विक (विद्धि) जान। (20)
