Taani, sarvaani, sanyamya, yuktH, aaseet, matparH,
Vashe, hi, yasya, indriyaani, tasya, pragya, pratishthita ||61||
Translation: (Taani) those (sarvaani) all the senses (sanyamya) overpowering (yuktH) contained mind (matparH) scripture-based way of worship (aaseet) engage with determination (hi) because (yasya) whose (indriyaani) senses (vashe) are under control (tasya) his (pragya) intellect (pratishthita) becomes steady. (61)
Overpowering all those senses, with a contained mind, engage in scripture-based way of worship with determination, because one whose senses are under control, his intellect becomes steady i.e. the intellect has dominance over mind and senses.
तानि, सर्वाणि, संयम्य, युक्तः, आसीत, मत्परः,
वशे, हि, यस्य, इन्द्रियाणि, तस्य, प्रज्ञा, प्रतिष्ठिता।।61।।
अनुवाद: (तानि) उन (सर्वाणि) सम्पूर्ण इन्द्रियोंको (संयम्य) वशमें करके (युक्तः) समाहित चित हुआ (मत्परः) शास्त्रानुसार साधना (आसीत) में दृढता से लगे (हि) क्योंकि (यस्य) जिस पुरुषकी (इन्द्रियाणि) इन्द्रियाँ (वशे) वशमें होती है (तस्य) उसकी (प्रज्ञा) बुद्धि (प्रतिष्ठिता) स्थिर हो जाती है अर्थात् मन व इन्द्रियों के ऊपर बुद्धि की प्रभुत्ता रहती है। (61)
