Janm, karm, ch, me, divyam, evam, yaH, vetti, tattvatH,
Tyaktva, deham, punH, janm, na, eti, mam, eti, saH, Arjun ||9||
Translation: (Arjun) Oh Arjun! (me) my (janm) births (ch) and (karm) actions (divyam) are divine i.e. transcendental (evam) thus (yaH) one who (tattvatH) in essence (vetti) understands (saH) he (deham) body (tyaktva) on abandoning (punH) again (janm) birth (na, eti) does not take, but one who does not know me, Kaal, in essence (mam) me only (eti) comes to. (9)
Translation
Oh Arjun! My births and actions are divine i.e. transcendental. Thus one who understands this in essence, he on abandoning the body does not take birth again, but one who does not know me, Kaal, in essence, comes to me only.

जन्म, कर्म, च, मे, दिव्यम्, एवम्, यः, वेत्ति, तत्त्वतः,
त्यक्त्वा, देहम्, पुनः, जन्म, न, एति, माम्, एति, सः, अर्जुन।।9।।
अनुवाद: (अर्जुन) हे अर्जुन! (मे) मेरे (जन्म) जन्म (च) और (कर्म) कर्म (दिव्यम्) दिव्य अर्थात् अलौकिक हैं (एवम्) इस प्रकार (यः) जो मनुष्य (तत्त्वतः) तत्वसे (वेत्ति) जान लेता है (सः) वह (देहम्) शरीरको (त्यक्त्वा) त्यागकर (पुनः) फिर (जन्म) जन्मको (न,एति) प्राप्त नहीं होता किंतु जो मुझ काल को तत्व से नहीं जानते (माम्) मुझे ही (एति) प्राप्त होता है। (9)
