TadbuddhayH, tadaatmaanH, tannishthaH, tatparaayanaH,
Gachchhanti, apunaraavrttim, gyaananirdhootkalmashaH ||17||
Translation: (TadaatmaanH) that soul equipped with the Tatvgyan/true spiritual knowledge (tadbuddhayH) the mind completely engrossed in the Tatvgyan of that Purna Parmatma (tannishthaH) is always single-mindedly established in that omnipresent God, such (tatparaayanaH) based on that God (gyaanani rdhootkalmashaH) it is also sinful to do sadhna opposite to the injunctions of the scriptures on the basis of Tatvgyan, and as a result of it one incurs sin only instead of merits therefore by doing true bhakti and becoming free from sins (apunaraavrttim) becoming free from birth-death, the state of not returning to the world i.e. complete salvation (gachchhanti) they attain. (17)
That embodied soul equipped with the Tatvgyan (true spiritual knowledge), whose mind is completely engrossed in the true knowledge of that Supreme God, is always single-mindedly established in the Omnipresent God. It is also sinful to do sadhna opposite to the injunctions of the scriptures on the basis of the Tatvgyan (true spiritual knowledge) based on that God, and as a result of it one incurs sin only instead of merits; therefore by doing true bhakti and becoming free from sins, they by becoming free from birth-death attain the state of not returning to the world i.e. attain complete liberation/salvation.
तद्बुद्धयः, तदात्मानः, तन्निष्ठाः, तत्परायणाः,
गच्छन्ति, अपुनरावृत्तिम्, ज्ञाननिर्धूतकल्मषाः।।17।।
अनुवाद: (तदात्मानः) वह तत्वज्ञान युक्त जीवात्मा (तद्बुद्धयः) उस पूर्ण परमात्मा के तत्व ज्ञान पर पूर्ण रूप से लगी बुद्धि से (तन्निष्ठाः) सर्वव्यापक परमात्मामें ही निरन्तर एकीभावसे स्थित है ऐसे (तत्परायणाः) उस परमात्मा पर आश्रित (ज्ञाननि र्धूतकल्मषाः) तत्वज्ञानके आधार पर शास्त्रा विधि रहित साधना करना भी पाप है तथा उससे पुण्य के स्थान पर पाप ही लगता है इसलिए सत्य भक्ति करके पापरहित होकर (अपुनरावृत्त्सिम्) जन्म-मरण से मुक्त होकर संसार में पुनर् लौटकर न आने वाली गति अर्थात् पूर्ण मुक्ति को (गच्छन्ति) प्राप्त होते हैं। (17)
