Baahyasparsheshu, asaktaatma, vindati, aatmani, yat, sukham,
SaH, brahmyogyuktaatma, sukham, akshyam, ashnute ||21||
Translation: (Baahyasparsheshu) in the external objects (asaktaatma) a devotee who is not attracted (aatmani) within self (yat) the sumiran which (sukham) happiness (vindati) finds (saH) that (brahmyogyuktaatma) devout soul engrossed with an undivided attention in the practice of bhakti of God (akshyam) eternal (sukham) bliss (ashnute) experiences. (21)
A devotee who is not attracted to the external objects, the happiness of sumiran which he finds within self, that devout soul engrossed with an undivided attention in the practice of bhakti of God experiences the eternal bliss i.e. attains complete salvation.
बाह्यस्पर्शेषु, असक्तात्मा, विन्दति, आत्मनि, यत्, सुखम्,
सः, ब्रह्मयोगयुक्तात्मा, सुखम्, अक्षयम्, अश्नुते।।21।।
अनुवाद: (बाह्यस्पर्शेषु) बाहरके विषयोंमें (असक्तात्मा) आसक्तिरहित साधक को (आत्मनि) अपने आप में (यत्) जो सुमरण (सुखम्) आनन्द(विन्दति) प्राप्त होता है (सः) वह (ब्रह्मयोगयुक्तात्मा) परमात्माके अभ्यास योगमें अभिन्नभावसे स्थित भक्त आत्मा (अक्षयम्) कभी समाप्त न होने वाले (सुखम्) आनन्दका (अश्नुते) अनुभव करता है। अर्थात् पूर्ण मोक्ष प्राप्त करते हैं। (21)
