Ath, ch, enam, nityajaatam, nityam, va, manyase, mrtam,
Tathaapi tvam, mahaabaaho, na, evam, shochitum, arhasi ||26||
Translation: (Ch) and (ath) if after this (tvam) you (enam) them (nityajaatam) continually taking birth (va) or (nityam) always (mrtam) dying (manyse) regard (tathaapi) then also (mahaabaaho) Oh Mighty-armed! You (evam) like this (shochitum) to grieve (na, arhasi) not worthy of. (26)
Translation
And if after this you regard them as continually taking birth and always dying, then also Oh Mighty-armed! You are not worthy of grieving like this.
अथ, च, एनम्, नित्यजातम्, नित्यम्, वा, मन्यसे, मृतम्,
तथापि त्वम्, महाबाहो, न, एवम्, शोचितुम्, अर्हसि।।26।।
अनुवाद: (च) और (अथ) यदि इसके बाद (त्वम्) तू (एनम्) इन्हें (नित्यजातम्) सदा जन्मनेवाला (वा) या (नित्यम्) सदा (मृतम्) मरनेवाला (मन्यसे) मानता है (तथापि) तो भी (महाबाहो) हे महाबाहो! तू (एवम्) इस प्रकार (शोचितुम्) शोक करनेको (न, अर्हसि) योग्य नहीं है। (26)
