Chapter 9 Verse 33

Kim, punH, brahmanaH, punyaH, bhaktaH, rajrshyaH, tatha,
Anityam, asukham, lokam, imm, praapya, bhajasv, mam ||33||

Translation: God, the narrator of holy Gita, is saying that if even the sinful souls mentioned in the aforesaid Shlok 32 can attain the supreme salvation then (PunH) then (brahmanaH) Brahmins (tatha) and (rajrshyaH) royal sages (punyaH) virtuous (bhaktaH) for devotees (kim) how difficult is it. (mam) my, Brahm’s (imm) this (anityam) perishable (asukham) troublesome (lokam) world (praapya) attaining i.e. taking birth (bhajasv) worship that Complete God because in Gita Adhyay 8 Shlok 8-10, 1 & 3and 20-23, a detailed description has been given for the attainment of the Complete God, and in Adhyay 8 Shlok 5-7 and 13, has mentioned about himself. Even here there is indicative message about that Complete/Supreme God, and in the following Shlok 34 has mentioned baout himself that if you have to stay in my refuge and have to keep bearing the hardships of birth-death, then - (33)

Translation

God, the narrator of holy Gita, is saying that if even the sinful souls mentioned in the aforesaid Shlok 32 can attain the supreme salvation then how difficult is it for virtuous devotees, Brahmins and royal sages. Taking birth in my, Brahm’s, this perishable, troublesome world worship that Complete/Supreme God because in Gita Adhyay 8 Shlok 8-10, 1 & 3 and 20-23, a detailed description has been given for the attainment of the Complete God, and in Adhyay 8 Shlok 5-7 and 13, has mentioned about himself. Even here there is indicative message about that Complete/Supreme God, and in the following Shlok 34 has mentioned about himself that if you have to stay in my refuge and have to keep bearing the hardships of birth-death, then -.

Therefore, it is evident in Gita Adhyay 18 Shlok 62 that go in the refuge of that Supreme God; by only His grace you will attain supreme peace and the eternal supreme abode. In the following Shlok, it is said that if you want my type of ultimate salvation then –


किम्, पुनः, ब्राह्मणाः, पुण्याः, भक्ताः, राजर्षयः, तथा,
अनित्यम्, असुखम्, लोकम्, इमम्, प्राप्य, भजस्व, माम्।।33।।

अनुवाद: पवित्र गीता बोलने वाला प्रभु कह रहा है कि उपरोक्त श्लोक 32 में वर्णित पापी आत्मा भी मेरे वाली परमगति को प्राप्त कर सकते हैं तो (पुनः) फिर (ब्राह्मणाः) ब्राह्मणों (तथा) और (राजर्षयः) राजर्षि (पुण्या) पुण्यशील (भक्ताः) भक्तजनों के लिए (किम्) क्या कठिन है। (माम्) मुझ ब्रह्म के (इमम्) इस (अनित्यम्) नाश्वान (असुखम्) दुःखदाई (लोकम्) लोकों (प्राप्य) प्राप्त होकर अर्थात् जन्म लेकर (भजस्व) उस पूर्ण परमात्मा का भजन कर क्योंकि गीता अध्याय 8 श्लोक 8 से 10, 1 व 3 तथा 20 से 22 में पूर्ण परमात्मा की प्राप्ति के लिए विस्तार से कहा है तथा अध्याय 8 श्लोक 5.7 व 13 में अपने विषय में कहा है। यहाँ भी संकेतिक संदेश उस पूर्ण परमात्मा के विषय में है तथा निम्न श्लोक 34 में अपने विषय में कहा है कि यदि मेरी शरण में रहना है तथा जन्म-मृत्यु का कष्ट उठाते रहना है तो- (33)

विशेष:- इसलिए गीता अध्याय 18 श्लोक 62 में प्रमाण दिया है कि उस परमात्मा की शरण में जा, उसकी कृृप्या से ही तू परम शान्ति तथा सनातन परम धाम को प्राप्त होगा। निम्न श्लोक में कहा है कि मेरे वाली परमगति चाहिए तो-
