Tat, viddhi, prnipaaten, pariprshnen, sevya,
Updekshyanti, te, gyaanm, gyaaninH, tattavdarshinH ||34||
Translation: God, the narrator of the Holy Gita, is saying that the various types of above-mentioned sadhnas[1] are arbitrary practices. It is a hypothetical knowledge of sadhna upto my level but even I do not know the path of complete salvation of the Supreme God. Regarding that it is said in this mantra 34 that (Tat) that Tatvgyan- true spiritual knowledge (viddhi) understand, the saints who know the true knowledge and solution of the Supreme God (prnipaaten) by properly prostrating before them (sevya) by serving them and giving up deceit (pariprshnen) by asking questions with simplicity (te) they (tattavdarshinH) the knower of the Supreme God in essence i.e. Tatvdarshi (gyaaninH) knowledgeable Mahatmas, (gyaanm) Tatvgyan i.e. the True Spiritual Knowledge (updekshyanti) will instruct. (34)

By properly prostrating before those saints who know the true knowledge and solution of the Supreme God, by serving them, and by giving up deceit, asking questions with simplicity, they, who know the Supreme God in essence i.e. Tatvdarshi, knowledgeable Mahatmas, will instruct you in Tatvgyan/True Spiritual Knowledge.

तत्, विद्धि, प्रणिपातेन, परिप्रश्नेन, सेवया,
उपदेक्ष्यन्ति, ते, ज्ञानम्, ज्ञानिनः, तत्त्वदर्शिनः।।34।।
अनुवाद: पवित्र गीता बोलने वाला प्रभु कह रहा है कि उपरोक्त नाना प्रकार की साधना तो मनमाना आचरण है। मेरे तक की साधना की अटकल लगाया ज्ञान है, परन्तु पूर्ण परमात्मा के पूर्ण मोक्ष मार्ग का मुझे भी ज्ञान नहीं है। उसके लिए इस मंत्रा 34 में कहा है कि उस (तत्) तत्वज्ञान को (विद्धि) समझ उन पूर्ण परमात्मा के वास्तविक ज्ञान व समाधान को जानने वाले संतों को (प्रणिपातेन) भलीभाँति दण्डवत् प्रणाम करनेसे उनकी (सेवया) सेवा करनेसे और कपट छोड़कर (परिप्रश्नेन) सरलतापूर्वक प्रश्न करनेसे (ते) वे (तत्वदर्शिनः) पूर्ण ब्रह्म को तत्व से जानने वाले अर्थात् तत्वदर्शी (ज्ञानिनः) ज्ञानी महात्मा तुझे उस (ज्ञानम्) तत्वज्ञानका (उपदेक्ष्यन्ति) उपदेश करेंगे। (34) इसी का प्रमाण गीता अध्याय 2 श्लोक 15-16 में भी है।
