Chapter 15 Verse 17

UttamH, purushH, tu, anyaH, Parmatma, iti, udaahrtH,
YaH, loktryam, aavishya, bibharti, avyyaH, iishwarH ||17||

Translation: (UttamH) Supreme (PurushH) God (tu) however, than the foresaid Gods, Kshar Purush and Akshar Purush (anyaH) is someone else (yaH) who (loktryam) in the three loks (aavishya) entering (bibharti) maintains/sustains everyone and (avyyaH) eternal (iishwarH) Parmeshwar (Parmatma) Parmatma (iti) as (udaahrtH) is called. (17)

Translation

The Supreme God is, however, someone else other than the two aforesaid Gods, Kshar Purush and Akshar Purush, who by entering the three loks, sustains everyone and is called as the Eternal Parmeshwar Parmatma (Immortal Supreme God).


उत्तमः, पुरुषः, तु, अन्यः, परमात्मा, इति, उदाहृतः,
यः, लोकत्रायम् आविश्य, बिभर्ति, अव्ययः, ईश्वरः।।17।।

अनुवाद: (उत्तमः) उत्तम (पुरुषः) भगवान (तु) तो उपरोक्त दोनों प्रभुओं क्षर पुरूष तथा अक्षर पुरुष से (अन्यः) अन्य ही है (यः) जो (लोकत्रायम्) तीनों लोकोंमें (आविश्य) प्रवेश करके (बिभर्ति) सबका धारण पोषण करता है एवं (अव्ययः) अविनाशी (ईश्वरः) परमेश्वर (परमात्मा) परमात्मा (इति) इस प्रकार (उदाहृतः) कहा गया है। यह प्रमाण गीता अध्याय 13 श्लोक 22 में भी है। (17)
