Ye, tu, aksharam, anirdeshyam, avyaktam, paryupaaste,
Sarvatrgam, achintyam, ch, kootasthm, achalam, dhruvm ||3||
Sanniyamya, indriyagraamm, sarvatr, sambuddhyaH,
Te, praapnuvanti, mam, ev, sarvbhoothite, rataaH ||4||
Translation: (Te) but (ye) those who (indriyagraamm) group of senses (sanniyamya) by properly restraining (achintyam) beyond mind and intellect i.e. because of absence of tatvgyan[1] (sarvatrgam) omnipresent (ch) and (kootasthm) always uniform (dhruvm) eternal (achalam) unchanging (avyaktam) invisible (aksharam) immortal God (anirdeshyam) against the direction of the scriptures i.e. abandoning the injunctions of scriptures (paryupaaste) constantly worship with one-pointed devotion (te) they (sarvbhoothite) in the welfare of all the living beings (rataaH) engaged and (sarvatr) towards everyone (sambuddhyaH) worshippers with equality (mam) me (ev) only (praapnuvanti) come to. (3, 4)
Translation
But those who by properly restraining all the senses constantly worship the God who is beyond mind and intellect, omnipresent, always uniform, eternal, unchanging, invisible and immortal with one-pointed devotion, they, engaged in the welfare of all the living beings, with equality towards everyone, come to me alone.
ये, तु, अक्षरम्, अनिर्देश्यम्, अव्यक्तम्, पर्युपासते,
सर्वत्रागम्, अचिन्त्यम्, च, कूटस्थम्, अचलम्, ध्रुवम्।।3।।
सन्नियम्य, इन्द्रियग्रामम्, सर्वत्रा, समबुद्धयः,
ते, प्राप्नुवन्ति, माम्, एव, सर्वभूतहिते, रताः।।4।।
अनुवाद: (तु) परंतु (ये) जो (इन्द्रियग्रामम्) इन्द्रियोंके समुदायको (सन्नियम्य) भली प्रकारसे वशमें करके (अचिन्त्यम्) मन-बुद्धिसे परे, अर्थात् तत्वज्ञान के अभाव से (सर्वत्रागम्) सर्वव्यापी (च) और (कूटस्थम्) सदा एकरस रहनेवाले (ध्रुवम्) नित्य (अचलम्) अचल (अव्यक्तम्) अदृश (अक्षरम्) अविनाशी परमात्मा को (अनिर्देश्यम्) शास्त्रों के निर्देश के विपरीत अर्थात् शास्त्राविधि त्यागकर (पर्युपासते) निरंतर एकीभावसे ध्यान करते हुए भजते हैं (ते) वे (सर्वभूतहिते) सम्पूर्ण भूतोंके हितमें (रताः) रत और (सर्वत्रा) सबमें (समबुद्धयः) समानभाववाले योगी (माम्) मुझको (एव) ही (प्राप्नुवन्ति) प्राप्त होते हैं। (4)
